Noosa Training Camp


Back by popular demand … swim, bike, run and chill in Paradise as the Pink and Blue Parquet heads to Noosa. 

What's the plan ?

SATURDAY (August 5)

6:30AM:  We'll leave the Noosa Lions Park (Noosa Tri transition area, off Noosa Parade) at 6:30am for a bike ride of up to 90km.  The long option (led by Brad) will include the 'hill', Cooroy, Pomona, Boreen Point then back via Tewantin.  Rachel will also be leading a shorter bike ride - over the Noosa Tri bike course (40km).

11AM: Brunch at Aroma's (on Hastings Street)

1PM: Ocean swim off Noosa Main Beach.  We'll meet on the beach in front of the Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving Club.

4PM:  We'll meet at 4pm at the Mount Coolum car park off Jarnahill Drive - for a a short hike up Mount Coolum to watch the sun set.  Awwww. 

6:30PM:  Dinner at Café Le Monde (Hastings Street). 

SUNDAY (August 6)

The Noosa Tri Club is hosting a long course training race - 2km swim, 80km bike, and 15km run - with shorter options also available.  Cost is $20 and includes post-race food.   All the deets (and how to register) are at .. http://noosatriclub.com/event-listing/

As always, non-BTC members are welcome BUT we do insist on you being a Triathlon Australia or Cycling Queensland member.
